How No-till Planter Works for Great Farming
When 2020 was rather a challenging year for all of us, we can only hope for better tomorrow. This is still to be early to say how farming went in 2020, we can instead of expect use of more tools and equipment in 2021 except planting using no-till planter. You've certainly heard of them, but do you use them?
Drones: Drones can appear to be a toy or something difficult for which you don't have time to experiment. However, there are some timely farming activities that can be done much more effectively and rapidly with them than with satellites, such as prioritizing harvest fields, crop exploration for disease and pest prevention, domestic animals or irrigation tool tracking, and so on.
Soil Biology Tests: A lot of are already familiar with these, but some of you aren't. Conventional soil tests are fine for evaluating the soil's nutrient grade and tracking the normal parameters. However, there may be significant details about the no-till soil - is the most valuable investment that those well-known tests fail to show.
Crop Rotation: You've probably heard this one before. It's not just about diversifying the investment portfolio and reducing risk. It's yet another chance to disrupt disease and insect cycles. Plant a crop for the following season: camelina, mung beans or switchgrass, depending on your region, may be options. Alternatively, cover the crops and start your soil build up to the next level. If there's enough biomass, it may be able to alleviate some of the burden on your herbicide agenda. Fallow should be avoided at all costs; it is not your buddy.
Excavate a Soil Pit: This is the time to get the backhoe out or get someone who already has it? Not only can you learn a lot about soil layers (also known as "horizons") by looking at the entire soil profile, but you can also learn a lot about what the roots are up to beneath the surface. Dig a pit enough deep so that the whole profile can be seen. Note the depth of the roots, the presence of earthworms, and any compaction layers.
Get More Accurate: Seed isn't cheap, whether it's for cover or cash crop. Examine your air seeder, planter or drill and be honest with yourself on whether or not it is producing the consequences you want. Have your supervision system failed? Is there a pattern to the seed placement? Have you been putting off installing row shutoffs? Do you make use of field mapping? It's difficult to find a technology method that more than half of them need like no-till planter. At 4AG Manufacturing, we have designed no-till planter tyre for you.
